Acute icteric hepatitis as the first isolated symptom of COVID-19

Patients with COVID-19 may be asymptomatic or present extrarespiratory symptoms, such as liver injury. It has been reported that 22.5%–46.2% of patients have moderate elevation enzymes. To our knowledge, acute hepatitis never described an isolated symptom in a previously healthy patient. We report the case 53-year-old patient whose first clinical presentation was icteric hepatitis, several days before development others symptoms. During pandemic, we suggest considered suspects, tested and isolated.
